Thyme is an aromatic floral herb that is widely used in food, aromatherapy and cosmetics. The word Thyme comes from the Greek meaning to fumigate, which suggests that it may have been used as an incense.

Thyme is found frequently in European and Mediterranean dishes and is pairs well with most food and wine.
